HISTORY
Hyderabad has a great and rich history it was ruled by three different dynasties. Namely The Bahmani sultanate, The qutb shahis and The Asif Jahis'. The asif jahis' were the last known rulers of the great city. This city in the olden days was a diamond market as it is mentioned in the history. The largest diamond in the world called KOH-I-NOOR was from this city which is now on display in the museum of england of the queen.During the reign of qutb-shahis the city flourished the most and it first came into existence in their time.The asif jahis Made a lot of beautiful architecture around the city.The city is famous for its palaces and lakes in and around the city.The CHARMINAR is the oldest landmark apart from the great golconda fort which is in ruins now. The city joined the indian union of states much later after India got independence from the british due to a police action called operation Polo under sardar vallabhai patel in the year 1949.
The Present....
As of now this city is the 5th largest city in the country area wise and 7th largest populated in the country. It has a mix of all the cultures and religions in it as the hyderabadis are always tolerant and accepting of changes. Muslims, hindus, christians, Sikhs and all other religions live in peace and harmony in the city as compared to the other cities of the country.The city has a lot of interesting places for people to visit and lots of movies theaters along with places like necklace road and tankbund along the lake for people to relax near the water.It also has a lot of parks for children and as well as adults and couple of places for couples too....The city also has a good night life with night clubs and discos all around the place with shopping malls that have everything that a person needs to live with a variety of cost ranges a 'woman's paradise' as some people call it.On the whole the new face of the great historic city is raising eyebrows from around the globe....
